Carl Lentz is searching for remedy after he was fired from Hillsong Church for “ethical failures.”
A number of media shops have reported that Lentz is getting assist at an outpatient facility that focuses on treating melancholy, anxiousness and “pastoral burnout.” Each People and Page Six cited sources in reporting on this growth.
E! Information has reached out to Lentz’s consultant for remark and has not but heard again.
Hillsong Church International Senior Pastor Brian Houston launched a press release on Nov. 4 to announce that Lentz had been let go from the church. Houston listed “a latest revelation of ethical failures” as among the many causes for the dismissal.
Lentz, 41, posted a press release on Nov. 5 to admit that he had been unfaithful to spouse Laura Lentz.
“Whenever you lead out of an empty place, you make selections which have actual and painful penalties,” he wrote. “I used to be untrue in my marriage, a very powerful relationship in my life and held accountable for that. This failure is on me, and me alone and I take full duty for my actions.”
